Transmission of sound to the other side of a studio is less of a concern than producing the best acoustical space to perform in. We are talking about sound transmission between spaces.

Battery technology is changing, but its capacity has plateaued in recent years. Yes we have the prospect of new technologies, but those are decades away from reality and right now exist only as lab experiments.

And producing sustainable batteries will be? You do realize that lithium ion mines and processing plants are just as disastrous to the Earth as oil extraction? Also there is the massive issue of lithium batteries being non recyclable.
