Didn’t read the article but “death note” and “Fma:brotherhood” seem to be decent starters. Death note is my go to starter anime for partners that don’t hang.

I have to kindly disagree. A good manga in theory should keep me coming back each week in excitement. I do feel like a few of “the greats” lose a lot , if not all of that “first arc excitement” with long winded battles scenes and/or a long hiatus.

The first part of the anime, episode one until they rescued Rukia (maybe episode 51?) was epic as hell, the filler arcs killed it for me. Started just reading the manga and hating the drawn out fights.

Sigh.....

Gotta love ark! Mega tribes Duping. Smaller tribes duping. Servers being closed and reset. Constant server time outs. The game is super fun just not the playerbase lol.
