I agree with that, mostly, but I do think the movie suffered from not being able to decide whether it was a movie about childhood for adults, or a kid's movie that could speak to adults, too.  If it was the former, then it suffered from a number of moments that were, I don't know, too on-the-nose, too

I've defended this season pretty consistently, and have generally been on the side of those who think that 30 Rock is, if not in peak form, at least doing very well.

Hey, you & I gave it the same grade!  Let's go find Rabin and we can all crap in everyone's fruit loops.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say "not well."

It was an interesting casting choice that they did almost nothing of interest with.  Part of that may be a function of MKW's limits as a comic actor.

Overthinking an episode of Community?

I know, right?  People shouldn't be allowed to be that attractive.  People like her make me think there should be some kind of radical, Harrison Bergeron-esque beauty redistribution program.

He was right, you know.  If you put a picture of Michael Sheen and the real Wesley Snipes in front of someone, and said one of these people is named Wesley Snipes, no one would pick the real Wesley Snipes.

Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for from Metric.

Good.  I begrudge that degenerate titlicker[1] his happiness.

The test they give at Starfleet Academy right before the Kobayashi Maru?

Since I have no idea how getting the top spot can qualify as getting snubbed, I'm going to have to assume you don't know what "the opposite" means.

Tough call, I think.  GoT, Mad Men, Veep, Community, 30 Rock, and P&R were all very, very good this week.

I very much appreciated Poehler's SE PA accent in 30 Rock; she doesn't have it down like Fey (for obvious reasons), but it was pretty strong for a non-native.

I found Schaal … strangely attractive this episode.  I was planning on passing that over in silence, but … what the hell.

I thought that was pretty inspired.

I thought there were more funny moments in this year's live episode compared to last's, but I didn't laugh at anything in this year's as hard as I did to "Dr. Spaceman's Love Storm."  (Jon Hamm & Tracy doing the Amos & Andy thing came the closest.)

God, can you imagine?  "Why was there no character development?"  Ugh.  The WORST.

Yeah, I'm with you.  My favorite Community in ages; a game, enjoyable 30 Rock; and a top 5 (top 3?) P&R.

So I just turned on the NFL Draft, and they're 'honoring our troops' while playing "Proud to be an American."
That's so fucking Bobby Newport, it makes me retch.
