I live in the suburbs of a Top 5 North American city - with the new update you won’t have enough pokeballs to catch anything unless you pay. It seems to now take 3-4 balls alone to catch things like Rattatas and Pidgeys...

Actually, as part of the update, they have made pokeballs/good/great/excellent throws way less effective. So you now need to spend way more to catch Pokemon you now have no idea how to find.
