HW as soon as they get home. They get 30 minutes of screen time a day. For every chore the do they get an extra 30 minutes of screen time to a max of 2 hours. This includes TV, iPads, PC, or Xbox and it is their choice how they spend it.

So, my 10 year old son wanted to play Stardew Valley. As tradition, we always start a new game sitting together on the couch. I let him play and he asks me for help if he doesn’t understand something and we sort of fumble through it together. We started playing around 7pm. At 8:30pm, game goes off and he gets ready…
I... are we sure this wasn’t a joke? Like 100%? B/c this sounds beyond the pale of absurdity.
Micro-transactions should always be cosmetic only. I spent 80$ on Overwatch loot boxes and I have no regrets. I got the skins and wanted and they don’t make a damn bit of a difference to the game play, so whoever didn’t have 80$ to blow on silly skins can still beat me with superior skill.
Can bitch all you want but players gobble up microtransactions like they’re free candy, just look at Overwatch. Then when developers promise free DLC and no microtransactions like in Titanfall 2, players totally ignore the game. Blame gamers for devouring microtransactions.
F2P monetization
And this is for a game that will be obsolete in under 12 months. Do they even transfer to the next year’s game?
I tried 2k15. When I made a customer character, spent my VC, decided I wanted to try again with a new character and realized I would be worse off because I didn’t have the VC like I did for the first character. Sold the game and swore it off.
“as usual, will be free”
I hope we all see the irony in someone winning a “For Honor” competition in a strikingly dishonorable fashion. Not just the exploit but that after winning he shot off a “wow this was so easy, I didn’t even practice,” line. Honestly I’m half inclined to think it was intentional.
Coming from a fighting game background, it’s a case where if the exploit wasn’t banned at the tournament (and depending on how the exploit is executed, that may not be a realistic route), it’s fair game. It’d be on the organizers to make that call and the developers to patch it out, if it was to be removed.
If you haven’t seen Injustice 2's intros you’re in for a treat. I do agree that Netherrealm seems to focus a lot more on the lor0e and characters, but I think part of the reason for Capcom’s moving backwards on that front is that they tend to listen a lot more to the hardcore fan base, and from what I’ve experienced a…
I’ve been playing a lot of Mortal Kombat X lately (because I’m always years behind on fighting games), and what’s amazed me is how much of the personality of the characters comes through in every aspect of the game. Including these kinds of personalized entrances. Everybody has a relationship to the other fighters,…
I do really enjoy SFV a lot overall, but one of the (several) things I miss when playing it is the use of special match intros.
What a class act Daigo is. I always admire him and his play style even if he loses is just great to watch.
ARMS’s biggest problem right now is Splatoon 2. I love ARMS, it’s a very good game, but Splatoon is a FANTASTIC game, and I just can’t bring myself to pick the former over the latter when I have time free to game.
You are kind of using hindsight bias, no one knew off the bat that Highgarden was a target at the time.
What annoys me is that the plan to attack Castarly Rock was kind of a stupid plan. Tyrion himself says that the Lannisters knew they were coming. Jaimie deduced that they couldn’t keep Castarly Rock (Especially since he likely knew Tryion had a way in.), so his best option was to use this tactical retreat as an…
If switch wasn’t that much in shortage in japan maybe it would even do better
USFIV was six years after the release of SFIV. SFV has been out for a year.
