I’ve had to learn to suss out what’s anxiety (which I can push through and enjoy myself) vs actual depression. Going out when depressed... you just find all these reasons why you should have stayed in.

And then cryyyy and cryyyy and cryyy. For days. And then weeks later, when feeling worthless, remember it and start crying again.

That’s the fundamental misunderstanding, though... right? Depression isn’t just having “a down day.”

No - it’s still condescension. “Condescension” refers to how the information is delivered; it has nothing to do with whether or not the information is correct or the quality of the speaker.
