That’s the thing though... all the “nice ones,” the majority, are totally permissive of this behavior.

I’ve had to learn to suss out what’s anxiety (which I can push through and enjoy myself) vs actual depression. Going out when depressed... you just find all these reasons why you should have stayed in.
And then cryyyy and cryyyy and cryyy. For days. And then weeks later, when feeling worthless, remember it and start crying again.
That’s the fundamental misunderstanding, though... right? Depression isn’t just having “a down day.”

Oh, that I understand. I went to an extremely small school, and so I kind of knew everyone and their siblings. I didn’t get anything much beyond “hey I really really like you I think you’re pretty.”
