I haven’t played vanilla Stellaris in years, only playing the star trek new horizons mod! it’s the best star trek game in years :(

I think the cult status Pee Wee has now would make it work, as long as it didn’t take itself too seriously, it would absolutely fly.

I like how Coates frames reparations as a way of addressing the systemic racist economics of the last 40 of 50 years rather than focusing exclusively on slavery. Even reparations for what the war on drugs or redlining and biased policing has done to the black community would be a good start.

When I detected where this episode was going, I was a little afraid the show would veer into “oh you millennials and zoomers” hacky stuff that Tina Fey has done before (some cringe worthy kimmy schmidt moments), but I was pleasantly surprised that it was smarter than that and that the actors seemed to finally find…

I hate these “lets break apart the USA” arguments because they are silly and wont happen—if the USA ceases to be a polity and balkanizes like that, the world is going to be a seriously very different place.

it’s one of those shows where i can just hear the pitch as i’m watching it, but i’ll still give it a shot.
