I'm a native Upstater (Plattsburgh) now living in rural Kentucky. I have the opposite problem as most people think all of New York State looks like Manhattan.

The cover alone did it for me. Alien abduction was my biggest fear as a child.

I'm getting ready for two weeks of robotics camps by figuring out some fancy features on the new Lego Mindstorm EV3 Kit. I'm working on collecting data as part of a program and sending the data to my laptop. Ideally, the kids would program the robot through a WiFi connection and collect the data remotely, like a

I went to graduate school in Milwaukee for mathematics. One Friday evening, some people from my topology class went to dinner, and we were discussing how to define a city to be "locally Milwaukee". Our definition is that every neighborhood had to contain at least one bar and at least one church. I see from this map
