I really want to annotate that slide rule.

Being one of the great geniuses of the 20th century doesn't hurt either.
Will tire rubber mark up floors?
Nate,
You need to give the torque numbers when discussing diesel engines. Usually, the horsepower in a diesel is lower than a comparable gas engine, but the torque numbers are much better. Horsepower is great for track cars or show-off cars, but torque is better for normal driving.
I thought of Thich Nhat Hanh as well. In a talk I heard on Zencast, (http://www.zencast.org/webpage/zencas…), he talked about writing a gatha (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gatha) for riding a bicycle. A gatha is a short poem recited during an activity to keep you focused on the task that you are performing.
Why would someone want to do this? It seems to me that you could accomplish just as much with the smartphone by itself as with a Raspberry Pi tethered to it.
When I was in middle school, I was able to beat my TRS-80 at chess. Now, I can't beat my iPad on the lowest settings. (Maybe that says more about me.)
Without the missile, it would be hard to get a sense of scale in the image. The mecha would look human size and the helicopters would far in the distance.
My opinion is that the "Sent from my iPhone" was clever marking on the part of Apple. I turned it off from my iPad, as it seemed pretentious.
I have a second cousin named Genny, after Genesee beer. I pitty her.
The idiots also hog a squat rack to do their shrugs. That's a double sin in my book.
I hate the people who use straps for shrugs. I can't be in a gym for more than ten minutes without going crazy from watching the meatheads.
I have the fondest OS memories of RedHat version 6.2. That is the version of Linux that I used to build and program Beowulf clusters. I still have the installation disk.
I wouldn't call that a sleeper due to the paint and air dam.
I've heard of that being done, althought I don't remember the details. IIRC, the main advantage is that the Subaru engine is lighter than the Porche. The power outputs are similar.
Preach it, Brother.
Our family vacations have always had the opposite philosophy, which is to see as much of the world as possible. That's why we take long road trips, with the goal of expanding to international trips as the kids get older. Our solution to the money problem is to cut in other areas of our expenses. Travel is our…
For some people, it is the science. For others, it is the adrenaline. My cousin chases storms for the photographs.
