I was thinking Barnabas Cullen when I first saw that photo.

Disney and Lucas are working together, so I doubt that.
The name "Pixar" is the only marketing required for their films these days.
Only if George Lucas is involved.
I did a calculation with my College Algebra students, and using a logistic regression we estimated that Facebook would max out at 950 million users or so. My hunch is that Facebook has enough diversity of members that it should survive for a long time. It would take a profound change in the digital environment to…
I don't think I'll be showing these princesses to my six-year-old.
I have a Ph. D. in math and I still don't know what he's talking about. 86 factors into primes as 43 and 2.
I went over to the website to check it out. As a Subaru fanboy, I was insulted that they never mentioned the joint venture between Subaru and Toyota. I was further insulted when they said "The Scion FR-S; built by passion, not by committee." Damn you and your shoe boxes, Scion.
Roxaboxen was all over that a while ago.
I don't mind watching any of the female leads. However, I do yell about the Arcadian every time Jennifer Morrison is on the screen.
"Zoso" was about turning Led (Zepplin) into (Mr.) Gold.
JJ Abrams after seeing Star Trek in 3D: "That is how lens flare is meant to be seen."

I disagree with Star Wars for introducing people to science fiction. I think that most people who don't like science fiction don't like the space opera elements. Star Wars is all space opera.
For some reason, Contact has been wiped out of the collective consciousness of science fiction. It is my favorite film, but I never see it in lists like this one. Jodie Foster perfectly captures the motivation and passion of scientists. It also softens the cynicism of Carl Sagan towards religion that was so strong…
I completely agree with your assessment of BLA as underrated. I always thought that the movie was a way to look at the Iraq war from the Iraqi's point of view without actually talking about the war directly. One common assumption is that America invaded Iraq for the oil. That would be like aliens invading our…
My thought was "Thank God there was no Bombadil!" That was one of the low points of the books for me. The fact that Jackson cut out that part of the book, and did it for the right reason, is what made his adaption work.
Ten years? *checks beard for more grey hair*
I'm staying away until "Rivendell" by Rush is also included.
