Isn't that a good thing? At least, for the most part.
Actually, the 918, along with the once-mad idea of a hybrid supercar with 70 mpg, came out in 2010 as a concept car, the P1 in 2012 as a concept car, and the LaFerrari in 2013 in production guise. That's not exactly "nearly the same time."
