I know a few people who got the "UPS discount" for this game and have had it for a few days now. Is it possible these people have just had that much of a head start to hop online at level 26 or is leveling just that easy after a while?

I would say if you're coming in fresh or mildly rusty to jump in at maybe 100cc to start. If it feels too easy/slow then jump on 150.
