While you can spot the differences if you look closely enough or have an artist's eye for facial detail (the cleft above her lip, shape of her face, lines by her nose, area under the eyes) even I have to admit that they share some similarities (those eyes)

Typical misguided gamer:

Wait wait wait...Women have breasts? What the fuck, cover them all up. Put these fuckers in burkas!!!

Ha, I forgot about this thread. I.m convinced you don't know what the word "loser" means though.

Can you really call that a spinoff though? She already exists as her own character. Using SvB as a way to intoruce the character to people seems like a sound strategy to me. If they're going full on shared universe from here onward then why not have them cross over? She can easily show up in the last 20 minutes of the

Yea and I said that in my post. This post however is like saying "If you needed an illustration of why bikinis are stupid, here is a picture of Solid Snake in a bikini on the battlefield."

I certainly knew that. It's just so many people seem ready to get up in arms about every piece of news concerning these new movies as if George Lucas did everything perfectly himself. I've adopted a wait-and-see-but-hopeful attitude.

Lol yea that's pretty dark. Though I knew a guy who said that he would have killed himself a long time ago if it weren't for the fact he was waiting for the release dates of cool and new things. (as another interesting and somewhat sad aside).

I never said moving to a console would be a bad thing or anything. It could obviously do much for the series. But you're talking taking things in a new direction and a console version isn't inherently a new direction. They built the games with the idea that kids would be taking their consoles all over the place with

All Gen III had was Camerupt, Torkoal and Magcargo. Ninetails if you want to include stuff from prior generations. They at least gave us Magmortar in GenIV but they don't really introduce a lot of fire types and we always get way too many water types. X/Y at least felt like it had a more balanced distribution.

And people bought this? I guess all they really wanted is for Nintendo to come out and say they're not against gay marriage. The game was likely just caught up in the fallout of righteous anger. I don't believe for one second that they can't send out a patch to change a few lines of code.

When did I miss the change in definition for the word skimpy?

Among many of the people I know and have talked to, Emerald is the most played/pirated/nostalgia filled title in the series. Right up there with Gold and Silver for others. I think it's probably due to the timing of the title and the popularity of the GBA. There was plenty wrong with this gen (no fire types? Really?)

Pshh. 12 million people were happy enough with all the new changes X/Y brought us. I'm not really sure what else you think the series can do that it hasn't already done aside from a move to consoles. But why would we need that when the handheld titles have shown they're capable of doing fully 3D worlds and pretty nice

This and a new stable of marketing surgeons and Nintendo can turn things around pretty quickly.

Who needs an MMO? We can take what we get on the handhelds, blow it up and then add areas where you can see other players customized avatars and do multiplayer stuff like explore and battle. It could work as easily as any other rpg.

You saved me some time in replying. This should be the only comment allowed.

I've been a diehard Nintendo fan for ages now. If I were a fanboy, I'd consider myself a Nintendo fanboy to the fullest, but even I'm not turning a blind eye to how far behind they've let themselves fall. All these steps forward in various areas and Nintendo would sit still. Doing so with the Wii was fine as it

This article is a great example of the problem people on the internet have when it comes to their opinions. They think they have a right to armchair direct/produce any and everything they come across and it's pretty stupid. Different works from all kinds of media have proven time and time again that people don't know

That's where the surprise comes in. The when. I certainly didn't expect to wake up today and then see news about the Ruby/Sapphire remake/sequel/whatever it's going to be. And to have it announced worldwide with only 6 months to go, that too is a nice surprise.
