And people bought this? I guess all they really wanted is for Nintendo to come out and say they're not against gay marriage. The game was likely just caught up in the fallout of righteous anger. I don't believe for one second that they can't send out a patch to change a few lines of code.

When did I miss the change in definition for the word skimpy?

Among many of the people I know and have talked to, Emerald is the most played/pirated/nostalgia filled title in the series. Right up there with Gold and Silver for others. I think it's probably due to the timing of the title and the popularity of the GBA. There was plenty wrong with this gen (no fire types? Really?)

Pshh. 12 million people were happy enough with all the new changes X/Y brought us. I'm not really sure what else you think the series can do that it hasn't already done aside from a move to consoles. But why would we need that when the handheld titles have shown they're capable of doing fully 3D worlds and pretty nice

This and a new stable of marketing surgeons and Nintendo can turn things around pretty quickly.

Who needs an MMO? We can take what we get on the handhelds, blow it up and then add areas where you can see other players customized avatars and do multiplayer stuff like explore and battle. It could work as easily as any other rpg.

You saved me some time in replying. This should be the only comment allowed.

I've been a diehard Nintendo fan for ages now. If I were a fanboy, I'd consider myself a Nintendo fanboy to the fullest, but even I'm not turning a blind eye to how far behind they've let themselves fall. All these steps forward in various areas and Nintendo would sit still. Doing so with the Wii was fine as it

This article is a great example of the problem people on the internet have when it comes to their opinions. They think they have a right to armchair direct/produce any and everything they come across and it's pretty stupid. Different works from all kinds of media have proven time and time again that people don't know

That's where the surprise comes in. The when. I certainly didn't expect to wake up today and then see news about the Ruby/Sapphire remake/sequel/whatever it's going to be. And to have it announced worldwide with only 6 months to go, that too is a nice surprise.

The reaction to Nintendo's response seems a little harsh. Honestly, in the world we're living in today, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Nintendo just put out a game meant to be playful and fun. If they had added a gay marriage option to it then all of a sudden the fun is overshadowed by news sites the

Calling the Zero Suit stupid is kinda like calling underwear stupid. At least from a function and canonical standpoint. Is running around in your underwear stupid? Yes it is. Is running around in the Zero Suit stupid? Probably. But the suit itself is not inherently stupid.

It's basically because if you look at the whole expanded universe there is quite a bit of lore chaos. We've got a ton of chefs working in one big ass kitchen all working on one meal. Some of the courses were pretty good, but there were a lot of things that just didn't mix/play together well. Not to mention Lucas and

DC said if Gal Gadot is well received in SvB then she'll get her own movie. So no we probably aren't going to be getting a standalone Wonder Woman movie. I wish they would have thought that casting out a little better.

Every time I see people go "Assassin's Creed in real life!" and then post a parkour video or wall climbing video I always think "where do you think they got that shit from?" The dudes over at Ubi are smart but I don't think they're so brilliant they can pull shit like this out of the air and slap it into a game.

For the most part, (at least in Nintendo's case) first party games and SquareEnix titles tend to retain their prices for a very long time. Some times almost the entire length of that console generation. If you're waiting for a price drop you'd be better off keeping an eye out for retailer deals like a buy x get x

I think the majority of DLC out there is easy to live with. The stuff I find annoying is store exclusive items and things that feel like they should have been part of the game from the get go but are gated off as DLC (on disc content).

The point here isn't that everyone does it. It's that Nintendo is finally catching up to the rest of the world. They've been so far behind that it's almost weird to see them behaving like a modern day company finally.

All of that, your joking tone aside, would be great for Nintendo honestly. Idiots would eat it up and that's more money in the Big N's pocket.

Your specs probably actually do scrape by under 500$ and is indeed beefier. Though I always count in the price of the case, monitor, power supply and mobo as being a little up there (only because I tend to gravitate toward mid tier "enthusiast" parts.) But really it sounds like you did well. Only thing you'd probably
