Nintendo is pretty damn rabid when it comes to shutting down fans. They've only recently become more understanding/cool with it.
Hah. I love this. My kid is too small to wear something like that though (let alone stand or even hold her own head up) but still!
Late night/early morning (for east coast) Kotaku posts have been under the moniker "Kotaku East" for a while now and they don't always have to do with gaming or anime. Kotaku has also always posted weird/funny things like this. It's not a site specifically for games but for things gamers might find interesting.
The problem with documentaries is that the majority of them are easily skewed toward one viewpoint or another. You can go out and do a documentary today, have a statics major crunch your numbers and interview notable women who've been in the game for years and make it out as though getting in the biz is great.
Never said it was the only way women were empowered in the industry, just one example. Also empowering doesn't mean make the entire gender look good. Not the only definition anyway. It can simply mean that a woman can feel good about herself. Nothing ludicrous about it really. What is fandom but a horde of people…
Maybe not in this (your?) country but in other places things can easily be viewed differently and I think that alone says a lot about the way we are about sexuality as a whole. It's time for reform in that regard I think. Stop tip toeing around sex and things of that nature and just accept it as a part of being human.
That's the difference between you and them. You can get hung up on what you see as shallow but if you stop and think about it, what does all that really matter anyway? They're just taboos that a group of people decide to place on things for unclear reasons aren't they?
Never said the work was empowering, it's the worship of perverts the world over and the things they do that give them power.
Doesn't make the worship any less worship though does it? They love their bodies and other people love them as well. It's alright to bee proud of things like that. A lot of the time people who hate themselves will be the first to try and shame others for not feeling the same way.
I never really got into the Dream World thing enough so I kinda missed that. Still I'd rather see Blaziken good for various reasons but not too good for tourney play lol.
Kids are great. Her whiny face looks like my daughter (6 1/2 weeks) when she cries lol. Everyone tells me they grow up so fast but I think I'm going to enjoy all the different stages of raising a child.
Never thought I'd be interested in something like a space sim but holy pants, I'm go'n buy this one.
Absol and Blaziken weren't all that good, making them better is wanted. I doubt these are the only ones they'll be changing so I'm looking forward to seeing which other pokemon they decide to touch up.
Be happy he's not a floating head/brain. With telekinetic and psychic powers there's no good reason to have a physical form you know?
They're hold items that only work in battle.
If I found out I kill the world in the future I'd wait and see what exactly leads me there. I wouldn't do anything to stop myself though unless I would be killing my loved ones in the process.
This could be pretty interesting. They can go back and give new forms to Pokemon I used to love but really didn't have much going for them being only 1 stage Pokemon. Like Absol, Mightyena, Ruddigon etc.
I've always felt the worst problem facing the Wii U isn't the lack of AAA games or third party support or even Nintendo's inexperience in things like HD game development. It's the damn name. Wii was one thing. Wii + some-other-letter sounds like an add on of some kind.
There was the Alpha series between 2 and 3 though and other updated versions and revisions and things of that nature so we might not see a Street Fighter with the number 5 for a couple more years but we'll definitely still see more of the series.
