actually looked into further and it seems it does add it to the settings app, just uses the app on the home screen for settings n such but you still enable in settings. not too bad

Ah, I already have a folder with a bunch of crap in it that I can't delete so it will just go in there, I get my keyboard and I never have to see the app. 1 part of the problem is resolved at least.
