youre incorrect in saying it's lightning cables for all since the 5c does not push out the 4s at all, its offered for free on contract, so theres still the old trusted 32 pin connector

Mac. You can run Windows virtually or use bootcamp. Best of both worlds. If you have Parallels then you can run Windows apps *natively* inside of OSX. Can't do that with Windows.
