@CrymeLord: First of all, scientist didn't think life elsewhere would have a similar chemistry (which this does kind of - DNA). There is no evidence to suggest that and it would be a pretty dumb assumption. The important part is that this CONFIRMS the notion that life elsewhere probably looks very different.

Uhhhhh. Didn't she publish this in march?

@ZeroCool898: haha only the staff can give out stars. but if i had stars to give, youd have one

@soren121: something like what hopefully google music will be. Cloud based music "locker" that syncs with your desktop and phone so you can have access to all your music wherever you are. but this shall do for now i guess. i dont see what the big fuss is though. iSyncr does this and actually syncs playcount info as

Eh. So if I read this right, you have to be on the same wireless network to do the syncing?

@Chris Braak: no it doesn't take a "different kind" of energy. That information is the result of cameras and processors and electricity. You can't just have "information" without a THING processing it.

@Chris Braak: But gaining that information takes energy. Information is not a FORM of energy.

@glwtta: I completely disagree with the article but I think their point is that "brick" somehow jumps by itself, and then they catch it. Then it jumps again, and then they catch it a little bit higher. I am upset that no one talks about where THAT energy comes from.

@Euclidean: I think him attacking the world trade center proves my point. they attacked the tallest most populated buildings in the most densely populated borough of the most populated city in america. the goal was numbers, not symbolism.

@eelnomis: Actually, my paraphrasing friend, Big Ben's quote was "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

@Euclidean: i think you are confusing the cause and the side effects while also just spewing the same old stuff that every one from fox to msnbc regurgitates. terrorist don't give a FUCK how you feel. they aren't doing this on some "let's freak out the americans" shit. they are doing it on some "let's kill a fuckton

@lostarchitect: i mean i think the last time i checked them winning had a lot to do with killing a bunch of us.

Three posts below this is a picture of a naked drunk guy found on google maps. I am sure he was consulted before the gawker network ran with the story and that despite it being deleted from google maps it's impossible to find his address and identity.

angry birds, naval edition
