So I did a lot of thinking on that when I found the casting out, because DORK.

Oh my god I would have died.
They had genetic testing done on them, and the ones that had the correct number of chromosomes were both female. They may have had male embryos, but those ones had missing/extra chromosomes and would be disposed of, since they’re not viable.
Even without the abortion part, what people are missing is that THESE AREN’T SURE THINGS!
They have been tested, and they are females (XX). She was older when they were created, and older women have poor ratios of normal:abnormal embryo creation. So a reason to get tested is that you’re older.
Are you implying that bankable stars are heavily featured in trailers for movies in ways that overstate their roles in the film itself? Fetch my smelling salts, post-haste!!
And I’m angry on the mom’s behalf that she had to spend how much of her daughter’s last time on earth fighting the girl’s deadbeat father.
And this is what I don’t get (and I said it above somewhere as well). He wants to pay a gestational carrier. That’s somewhere around $100k after payment/legal/medical/agency/etc. It’s another $10k for an egg donor. If the story is that he wants kids and that’s the reason why, surely he’s spent more on lawyers than…
But - if he’s really so obsessed with those embryos and wants to born them via surrogate (well, gestational carrier is the correct term), why *those* embryos?? The GC is $100k. A fresh batch of eggs from your choice of lovely lady (not Vergara lovely but you can get close!) is $10k. Just make more dude.
So, I’m not a doctor, but Mirena is primarily progestin, and BC pills are generally estrogen with a progestin backing. You can get BC with progestin only, but it has to be taken at the *exact* same time every day or it will fail.
Ok, glad I’m not crazy. I can see that being a reasonable legal argument to have. Full disclosure: I have no idea what’s a reasonable amount of time to get a clinic back up and running. With permits and inspections I would guess closer to a year, but 3 does seem too long. Legally, I would think it would be easy enough…
I guess what I don’t understand is, it seems like what he’s saying is that she was out of business for 3 years, and is expecting him to mitigate that, where he’s saying 6 months would be reasonable to get everything back to shape and he shouldn’t have to pay for an additional 2.5 year sabbatical. Which, I guess I…
Todd! Are you not aware that I get farty and bloated with a foamy latte???
Thank you!! Some of us are in Utah for horrible reasons! Just bury the lede down a paragraph so it doesn’t show up on the damn homepage!!
I remember that one - that was messed up. The mom also couldn’t be bothered to show up to meals per their agreement, which was sad, but it was beyond the pale when she flat out said “let’s diet together!”
Remarkable people, the Blacks: musical, very athletic, not very good swimmers. Again I’m talking about the family. Black is African-American, though.
If you are accompanying a minor child, the airline will give you a pass to get you to the gate. Now, is it a pain for them, because they have to justify it forwards, backwards, and sideways? Of course! So they DO get lazy about it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible.
From what I read, this was a straight-shot flight with family on both ends. So if the flight got delayed, family comes back to get him. Why the family didn’t walk him straight up to the door of the plane though...
Agreed. I would hope that the money itself would mostly go to her trainer/groom/working students/etc, to whom $10k would be a LOT of money. In fact, I would guess that at this level, her trainer builds prizes like this into her compensation structure and depends on it for income - I know it’s pretty standard for…
