I wish more people would realize that the only correct response to a grieving person is “I’m so sorry”, and that loss of fertility is a genuine grief. And then shut your stupid face. Sorry+shut face. It’s not that hard.

I am so, so sorry for your struggle. I genetically test embryos for couples who undergo IVF, and every time I hand back a report with no viable embryos I die the tiniest bit inside - I can't imagine what it's like on the other side. It's so capricious. I hope you are able to find some answers at the very least.
Vasectomies are not 100% reversible - not even close, unfortunately. After a very expensive, invasive procedure, they may be reversible. But they also may fail. If you don’t get 100% effective reversal you’re looking at an IUI at the very least, which may or may not be covered by insurance. And don’t forget, it’s a…
As a great man once said: “life finds a way”. Sure, in a population of 300million, a couple of women who get pregnant on their periods are statistically zero. But it’s probably not comforting to those women, I would guess. And you have to have someone who knows the dates of a)their period and b)the isolated sex act…
They’re saying a week for living sperm now. Theory being that they go dormant at their destination and can basically hide for a while. But it’s basically all just a guess - how do you test that there’s 1 sperm left in a woman’s reproductive system? You can’t exactly radio tag all 250 million and see when the last…
I also feel like when Rihanna for Puma “designs”, it’s more like how most celebrities “write” - someone with talent shows them a finished work and takes feedback, that may or may not make sense.
Also, everything I’ve read says the damage (which, again, only occurs in a small percent of cases) is done in the first trimester. By trimester 2 onwards the fetus isn’t susceptible to the kind of damage from the virus. And if it makes you feel ever MORE betterer, the suspicion is that most of the cases in Brazil are…
Yeah pretty much all essential services have contingency plans with worst case scenarios in place whenever anyone whispers the s word. Hospitals were all fully staffed before the snow fell and those who were there knew they were in it for the long haul. But yes, if there were an emergency that required movement the…
Cue to Zapp singing “there IT is, lookin weird....”
I’m taken aback by how few people are concerned about the cost of this play. I mean, a West End production? Even if it wasn’t the hottest game in town you’re talking triple digit prices, AND you have to get to London! It just makes me sad as a Poor that Rowling doesn’t remember how hard it is to be a Poor and miss out…
What I got out of this was how sad and beautiful it was that the widow Congdon had a sound recording of her husband, who she clearly still loves dearly. And he's talking about dildos.
Ok, i would have thought the same thing, until my cousin made it to 8.5 months without anyone knowing. We all were like “she’s gaining weight?” until her brother snooped and found searches seeing how late a late term abortion was allowed (not that late!). Sex with the bf and everything. And then my own pregnancy, I…
