I totally get it. We're supposed to laugh at (or… with?) Abbi's awkward, sad appearance & not simply ridicule her. Just because something literally looks like a punching bag, doesn't mean it should be treated as such. Lesson learned, DD!

oh dear, it seems I've struck a nerve. I watch the show because Ilana is an amazingly gifted comedian. It's her talent that keeps me watching despite Abbi's painful lack of comedic ability & inappropriate wardrobe.
