As an Estonian who would love to buy a 900€ W204 could you point me in the right direction? Never seen one, especially a manual, nor do I know any Finnish car thieves so please help a brother out.

The cars usually have 3-5 minutes between them at the start. If one catches another, somethings probably gone very wrong so passing is ok. Hard to get a rally driver to yield though, they are not used to checking the mirrors plus with all the dust and debris being kicked up visibility is pretty shit.

I have seen atleast one of those on the road. When the factory closed most of the very last cars were saved by the workers. I remember seeing one SportCombi for sale locally but no idea where it went. Really cool cars, it's a shame what happened to Saab.

Yeah, just checked. In Europe we get it as the Opel Insignia Country Tourer and it comes with either a 6-speed manual that has a 170hp turbo diesel or an 8-speed auto that comes with a 210hp biturbo diesel engine. We do get the regular wagon though which looks way better anyways.

NP all day long. I miss my E34 dearly and they are getting super hard to find even in Europe plus as others have said, these things are bulletproof and if something does break you get to pop the super cool forward hinged hood like a boss. While the E32 will always be my favourite model, a solid E34 for this cheap is

Tired of hearing about the car? Yeah absolutely. Tired of hearing the actual car? No way. Sounds great. I love a good v8 as much as the next guy but for a sports car the straight 6 sound is just better in my opinion.

I once had a really well equipped E34 525i touring with a manual swapped in and a 4.xx final drive and man do I miss that car, even more so now. Great cars and unlike newer models, reliable too. Mine was absolutely bulletproof 400k+ km on the clock.

Hey thanks for reminding me that the new Jimny is out. Just checked the prices and not bad, fully loaded 20k eur, base is 16.5k eur. Seems like the led headlights alone are 2.5k. I really don't need a new car right now but it sure is tempting.

There was also the ZAZ Tavria ERF Group B prototype. I believe they made only 3 of them. The Estonian Museum of Motorsports just finished restoring one and should have it on display soon if not already. They should have a couple of VFTS’ too.

People are willing to pay stupid money for cars these days, why not buy one of the rarest RS models and be the only one to have one in the US for what, 1/3 of the price of a Singer? Is Seinfeld still collecting Porsches? I mean if I was looking for a rare Porsche to blow my money on I’d have a serious thought about

Well since the shortcut that cuts off the GP track from the full 24h one is pretty short people have tried to get a rough estimate of how fast the current fastest GT3 cars are there and I believe they are getting closer and closer to the old record. This year the time to beat was 8:09 for the full lap. Take off the

Hey cheers for the mention, forgot to add my kinja handle to the email.

Some people here are talking about chassis damage from the jumps. Yeah sure, but show me a drift event where these cars don’t get some sort of permanent damage. The e46 wagon ends almost every race looking like something out of a demolition derby

According to friends who attended the event, it snowed about 4 inches per hour all day long. They had the plows go through right before the stages but it wasn’t enough. As a Tänak fan I was dissapointed but no worries, both he and Ogier showed great speed when the roads cleared and most of the season is still ahead of

Tbh this doesn’t even happen in most third world countries. Sure, every now and then an extreme act of violence happens but teenagers shooting up schools on a regular basis not to mention all the other shootings, shit like that just does not exist, at all. A student in Chechnya for example, as violent as that country

Love the car, who wouldn’t right? About the gearbox though, I remember when having a sequential or paddle shifted gearbox was a next level mod to do on a fast street car. Porsche gives us the best kind of gearbox ever, reliable and comfortable at that, and suddenly peole are complaining.

There was a manual 5.4l v12 swapped E34 for sale not too long ago, asking price was 3500 euros. Neat car but the thought of taking over someones project car like that was a bit too much though.

I’ve found that Swedish cars of all ages and surprisingly my old E34 and E32 BMWs alike had the sort of heaters that would, as you said, roast you right the fuck out of the car even when it is far below freezing outside and I loved it. Had an E34 wagon with the dual sunroof. Opened it up just slightly above the rear

It would probably be easiest to find a surplus military G-Wagen ambulance from somewhere in Europe. Single cab, long wheelbase and the military version’s interior would be perfect for farm duty. Plus, in my experience, the longer wheelbase means it drives better than the regular ones on anything but the roughest

My old e34 BMW had something similar. You could leave the vent on even if the car was locked and not running and you could even set it on a timer to start whenever you wanted. Some older Audis had solar panels in the sunroof to power the a/c on a hot day. Why this isn’t normal these days is beyond me, how hard can it
