I believe you meant to say e38 instead of e32 which is probably the last shark nosed car BMW made. There are currently 2 long wheelbase e32s for sale near me and the tempation is unbearable, I love those cars. Here’s another local one just because..

Check out the Red Bull Drift Shifters event. They set up a cool playground for drift cars with sensors everywhere that measure distance, angle, etc.

I agree, he would have been great leading the FIA. I’m Estonian btw and I still find it weird how he got here. Sure, the Finns love this place but he’s lived in France for ages now and had no connection to us beforehand. Can’t complain though, as I said, the man is a living legend.

Fun fact, Ari Vatanen has been the president of the Estonian Autosport Union since 2013 and just got voted to remain until 2021. Why he chose to come take this job is beyond me but I’m glad that he did, dude’s a legend and at 65 years of age, still doing his best for the sport.

More food for thought then

I believe this was in qualifying. It’s a really weird lap to look at, sloppy even, but the numbers don’t lie and unlike the production car laps, this time is verified and 100% legit.

Speaking of smoothness here’s a video of the fastest lap around the current 24h configuration of the track. 8:10.921 for the full track, a very impressive 6:30 for the Nordschleife alone. What’s surprising though is the way Kevin Estre did it, super agressive everywhere and not really a smooth lap at all.

Too bad the

My daily driver for the last 3 years has been a manual “stage 3" 2001 9-5 aero and while the 9000 got a far superior engine they feel the same really. 30mph is the standard speed limit in most European cities and in third gear at that speed the engine turns just under 2k rpm and gets pretty decent fuel mileage even.

As an Estonian the first thing I have to say is everyone needs to just chill the fuck out. As of right now there’s not a single piece of news regarding Russia or NATO troops anywhere on the front page of our biggest news site and this is just after a well known Russian politician reminded us that in case of war they’d

Oh absolutely, natural resources are the only things Putin can rely on for income right now and it’s not only the sanctions and the tanks, but the serious threat of further economic sanctions that hold him back. Sanctions such as being shut out of SWIFT which would deny 140 million people access to most of their

Absolutely, which is why they most likely would not look towards any nato country to expand even if they wanted to. Ukraine and Russia had an open border when that shitshow started. Take that, add extremely corrupt governments on both sides and hundreds of thousands of poor mostly working class people and no wonder

Estonia has been spending more than 2% for some time now actually. Sure, it’s not much, but then again we do share a border with these assholes. That said, it’s time to stop with the paranoid talk of a NATO vs Russia war. I’ve lived my entire life no more than 150 miles from the Russian border and let me tell you,

It could very well be decades not just years. This is what Russia does, has always done and what they are good at. Putin has been playing a long game and Trump couldn’t have come at a better time for him. Western Europe is all kinds of fucked up politically with the massive migrant crisis not helping things, France

Not sure where in Russia this was filmed but speaking of northeastern europe in general, our winters are rapidly getting much warmer and bleaker with no snow to light up the super long nights. A couple of years ago december was the start of the ice racing season, right now looking out of the window I see no snow and

And this is why I can’t get behind the whole “bring back Group B” thing. I mean, just look at this damn thing. Not only is it faster than the old cars, it looks fucking awesome. I hope they keep the evil red eyes on the final livery and make them glow red like some sort of aftermarket BMW lights because why not.
I

Yeah, of course there are. I live in Estonia so Sweden is not exactly far away and most parts are easy to come by. All the more weird that the primary source for LSDs is the U.S. I think it was the Chevy Cobalt SS that had the same gearbox but with a LSD. Good luck with your car though, well taken care of these cars

My car has the Speedparts 3' Downpipe, “race cats”, 2,5' pipe leading into a 4' muffler. Doesn’t sound like a 4 cyl at all and pops and crackles on the overrun all the damn time, love it. Add to that a bigger intercooler, different fuel pressure regulator and a useless open air intake and the sounds alone get me a lot

Came here to say this. Nordic stage 3 9-5 aero owner here. Sure there’s some lag but 440nm @ a bit less than 2000rpm means there’s no lack of power in most situations daily.

BMW at least used to list their cars’ weight with the driver and 1/2 tank of fuel included. Not sure if they still do but that would explain the difference.

Probably just trolling for some feedback from the ship, radar etc. Such flyovers do happen, especially around the Baltic sea, it’s the cost of having a neighbour like Putin. I doubt that, even when given the order to attack the ship, the pilots would actually pull the trigger. That would be ww3 and they’d be the first
