Oh, nice. He's really good. If only I had a computer that could handle this, I'd love to continue as well. As to the Jensen, I do hope we see more of it in the future. I imagine it would look great in black.

If you look at the rear-view image where the A-pillar meets the roof you can see where light doesn't reflect as it should. This happens because the model is first built with a much lower polygon count and later smoothened out by the program itself. One of the most difficult things to deal with are certain corners and…
I'm 99.7% sure this is a rendering of a 3d model not a photoshop of something that excists. Blueprints like the one on the wall are used as background when building the model. Not that it's a bad thing though, the lack of reflective paint makes the lines earier to see. This of course also means that making the rear…
I remember, probably from some youtube video, that the tires they use are grooved so that they grip better going sideways. Tire wizardry aside, you've got to love the way these guys drive, huge balls on both the driver and co-driver.
Having driven a E30ix I can say that it's not bad at all. It all comes down to where you live. In the dry, I'd say it's not better then the rwd version. As a winter car, it's brilliant. Not sure but I believe they are slightly rear-biased and despite the added weight of the AWD system, it's still a very light car…
Ah yes, Vauxhall. Wonder why they can't just name them Opel everywhere, bad rep? Lotus and Opel/Vauxhall could actually make something similar once again with the Insignia, it's even sold in the States as the Buick Regal. A 200mph Buick Lotus Regal would spice up the brand quite a lot.
Ah yes, if you're not familiar with it yet, google Opel Lotus Omega. Seriously fast even by modern standards and despite the rarity a lot of them are modified and serious contenders for best sleeper ever.
Actually with a good set of tires, this car should be hilarious fun in the snow. Theres a guy around here who daily drives his modded 911 turbo all winter long, and we get quite a bit of snow. Snownuts for everyone! My rwd bimmer is brilliant even in the worst this asshole season can throw at it, so why not something…
Just bought a Nordic stage 3 9-5 Aero with about 285k kilometers on the clock. The engine has been rebuilt not long ago, stock engine had sludge issues. It is a really solid car though, 13 years old and tight as a drum. Pulls really hard too :)
I have driven my fair share of Unimogs in the military and i have to agree with you, they are the ultimate utilitarian beasts. The older ones just look sad in my opinion, especially so when they are being passed by most other machinery on the road because top speed on these things is 75km/h at most. The black swat…
Of course it will drift. Eastern Europe is full of old BMWs turned into pro drift cars. Here is a video of the recent Drift Allstars event in Estonia. First couple of cars are old 5 series bimmers and this is just a small example of how many there are. Most have turbo m60 engines, one m5 (e34) used to have a viper v10…
Canadian eh. What happened in Crimea is akin to the USA invading a part of Canada where 2+ million people live and holding "elections" where American citizens have the right to vote on your behalf (like Russian citizens could in Crimea) Finally after a 96% vote in favor of annexing said region, they would just call it…
You say you're not American, well what are you then. From what you've written you seem to be either a brainwashed russian or as far from Eastern Europe as possible. I was born in the Soviet Union and grew up in a country trying to work itself back to normal after 50 years of Soviet occupation and let me tell you, no…
Probably not getting the full story. Looks like he got fired for whatever reason and found a way to get back at them by digging up something almost a year old. Right now it´s his word against Lotus, but since it´s such a touchy subject, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and all reason goes out the window.
