That's a fair reaction, I think. Sometimes it's good for something to be "exactly what you expect," in that the reason we expected this episode was partially because of how it was built up. A swerve just for the sake of being shocking would be weak storytelling. On the other hand, when a show is so good at blowing

I couldn't have said it better.

Not surprising, since Gravity Falls has managed to be consistently better than Game of Thrones since its inception.

I think… it's a metaphor.

Xyler and Craz slew me at the end of this one. Also, how nice was it to see so many people alive and… okay not "well," but at least alive! Some of my favorites like Pacifica, McGucket, and of course Stan. It's a great relief that they're okay. And even the Multi-Bear! I'm both excited for and dreading the finale.

You know, I always prefer being a good guy in games like this, so I'm going to have to disagree and say that being good feels good (maybe because I wish I could be such a "good guy" in real life so following the Light Side path is like wish fulfillment for me—who knows, though). Dark Side is definitely fun (as is

Is that official? Because that would be awesome.

Fortunately, he's the 12-year-old protagonist of a children's show. That's got to be worth, like, three Time Police squads, at least.

I think that is a good way to put it, yeah.

For a moment I thought you meant Tyler Cutebiker, and I was very confused.

I read in an interview that Alex Hirsch said that Gideon's done too many bad things for us to consider him truly redeemed, so I think it's fair to say the creators feel more or less the same.

It is, and it's a testament to how good this episode is that it doesn't suffer from her absence. At least, as I see it.

As much as I love Gargoyles, and as much as it brings me back to my childhood, I have come to terms with the reality that Gravity Falls is even better.

It totally reminded me of Rixty Minutes, too! I was so hung up on that, I didn't even realize it was Louis CK until after.

You know, I believe you, but I've watched the episode three times already and simply cannot find him. Clearly I am not watching closely enough.

Personally, I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. …Okay so maybe I am.

Um… no? He totally does come across that way in this. I'm not condemning the fellow (I've never met him), but just read the article.

I don't think that Bond should be gay, but why not bi or something similar? Being gay changes a big part of the character—his fucked up way of relating to women. But make him bi or pansexual, and make that relevant, and that would be pretty cool. Also Roger Moore sounds like a real bigoted asshole.

You make a good point, I didn't consider that.

Oooh let's get a Corduroy Christmas Special! Just a half hour of watching them prep for the apocalypse. Nice.
