“Let’s be clear about what happened here — Donald Trump Jr misstated statistics so he could attack Angus King with a neo-Nazi dogwhistle,” ThinkProgress journalist Aaron Rupar tweeted.

People are just dying to ride in one.

I’m with you. I don’t want any more chemicals in my body than absolutely necessary. I’m no anti-vaxxer, I’m glad we live in a world where we’re protected from polio and mumps, but I’m not getting one every year for an illness that I’ve caught three times in 32 years.

Annual flu vaccine still batting .0000 against prevelant strain of flu, that is it has never matched. Sorry, but I’m not annually loading my body with all manner of toxic substances and a non-matched strain of the virus in order to hopefully not get someone else sick from this year’s strain. That is pollyanna thinking

To answer all the “why not” questions. I rarely get sick, I am a healthy middle-aged individual. I don’t see a need to get the flu shot that might or might not work anyway. Last year’s shot was a debacle, the company blatantly said that they got it wrong.

I rarely get the flu (or even get sick) so why should I put something in my body that I don’t want? Polio vaccine? Yes. Tetanus? Sure.  Flu? No

Thanks for the advice.

That technician now has more kills than 98% of the Belgian Air Force and will be an instructor at Belgian Top Gun Academy next year

Does the technician get to affix a little sticker of a fighter jet to the outside of his toolbox now?

Exactly, I take NHTSA results with a huge grain of salt. IIHS and EuroNCAP are the gold standards and they always evolves the tests.

Great point not mentioned by anyone else before.  I have been waiting for the IIHS to show the Model 3 crash test results before making a buying decision.

Isn’t it somewhat unfair to compare cars with front engines to a Tesla Model 3 in any sort of frontal crash test? I mean I’m no engineer, but I would assume it’s far more difficult to design a safe(r) car when working around a giant hopefully immobile chunk of aluminum or steel than it is to design it around a trunk

There is a point of diminishing returns.

But I think we are getting to a point of diminishing returns.  Cars are so clean already, fuel economy is pretty great, and there are a lot of other industries that are dirtier.  Not saying that cars should be allowed to be dirty because other industry is, but that we would be better off investing the time and energy

I’d buy that for a dollar!

They are both true.

Please tell me how he cheated.

There’s always someone who needs to take an article about a badass vehicle and turn it into an unrelated shitshow

I guess that could be the case for some but I’m sure it goes both ways.

Some wish to fire him. Some will want him to stay on for 4 more years. The people did want him. The election proved that.
