It was Fairstein and ADAs Elizabeth Lederer and Arthur Clements who tried to hide that evidence from the defense. It accidentally came out in court when the lab tech mentioned it.

This is certainly how they present the DA who actually prosecuted the case. She just wants to win; it’s the only thing she’s concerned with.
I’m embarrased for this artist, in that she isn’t particularly familiar with the history of her oeuvre.
I got tickets to go and see Celine on her current national tour and I. Cannot. Wait.
I was naturally blonde until I became an adult, at which time started to highlight my hair to retain my previously natural (and lifelong) blondeness. I have been called “Barbie” and “Blondie” in a derisive and condescending way for my entire life. Am I allowed to identify as blonde? Or is my experience being insulted…
I like the Twittercast, Talk the Thones, via the Ringer, an the Binge Mode podcast, as well.
I don’t mind that, as the book and the show are pretty different animals, and I think there’s merit to discussing the show as a self-contained unit. At the end of the day, you have to evaluate the show on its own—because if you need to have read the books to understand what’s going on in the show, that’s a big problem.
That conversation was seeding the preqeul that’s first up: one of the main characters/plot focus is said to center on the sellsword who was the first Lannister and how he founded Casterly Rock.
He was promised that by Tyrion in exchange for his life My issue isn’t with Bronn having that title & lands, because, why the hell not, at this point. But having achieved all of those things, Bronn is going to head to King’s Landing to be part of the council instead of kicking back at Highgarden with an endless supply…
But that’s what you get from a Jezebel recap. Which isn’t really about being a true GOT lover/fan, and more about GOT as a pop culture phenomenon.
Agree. The wheel will break—there will be no Iron Throne. Sansa will be warden of the north (or whatever title). And Jon will go back up North and reunite with Ghost, a broken man after he (or Arya) kills Dany.
Brienne might have a heroic last stand protecting Sansa from Dany...
I absolutely do not expect there to be a happy ending. GRRM has always said it would be very bittersweet, noting that LOTR was his inspiration (everyone leaving Middle Earth, the Shire scorched, Frodo a totally broken being who leaves the Shire, etc.). I do expect a level of SATISFACTION to the storytelling, and that…
If you believe Lena Headey, Cersei is dead.
Yes, and not completely earned, in Cersei’s case. She drove Tommen to suicide, and allowed the other to become a sadistic crazy person. Not great parenting, Cersei! Separately, even if she was mom of the year, it would not make up for her atrocities. Not by a long shot.
Agree on both counts. I was focusing on Cersei, but now I’m EXTRA PISSED that they had Brienne sleep with Jamie. Such bullshit to mess around with her and that relationship like that.
Solely to appeal to that nonsense “But Cersei loves her children” crap Tyrion and the show kept spouting. Like it redeems her in ANY way.
Well, yeah. But Jaime wasn’t on Arya’s list.
I would have LOVED it if Drogon had flown right up to the balcony and TORCHED Cersei. Or if Cersei had done anything beside just stand there. Surprise Dany with some scorpions hidden in the Red Keep? Unleash a crazy Wildfire explosion somewhere? Release a tidal wave of Dornish Red to extinguish the flames engulfing…
I cannot believe that they gave Cersei such a peaceful send-off (relatively speaking). She got to die in the arms of her true love. That was so ridiculously unsatisfying, truly unbelievable. The Hound should have stabbed her in the face as she was sneaking by on the steps and said “this is for Arya Stark.”
