The Pirates mention seems like a subtle dig, no? I would namecheck Atonement, The Imitation Game and Pride & Prejudice over those...

They are a pair made in PR heaven! I love how they’re werking the red carpet poledance for this movie and I cannot wait for it to continue through awards season.
Obviously, that would be first choice. Short of that, I’d settle for an approximation of a vaguely uplifted look via fashion tape.
1. I would give anything for Michael Kors to come back to headline the new PR on Bravo, or join HK and TG at Amazon. Whatever it takes to get his catty quips back in my life on the reg.
Yeah but she wasn’t an interview subject and this wasn’t a news interview. She was booked as a speaker on a specific topic, and questions/discussion was to relate to the topic they booked her for (as noted above). If they weren’t interested in her thoughts on the topic of the speech, they shouldn’t have booked her to…
The TJs he works (worked?) at is my local one—people recognized him right away! I remember seeing posts on our area’s local FB group about it.
Grande did actually know Aretha Franklin. They met at the White House and spoke a few times after that—Franklin also sent her some music (she mailed a CD because she didn’t know anything about MP3s). And Grande performed “Natural Woman” on the Jimmy Fallon show at the request of The Roots (she happened to be there to…
J. Lo arrived for her Video Vanguard honors...in full-on Donatella Versace cosplay. That’s kind of weird. Especially since Gaga already pulled that move a few years back.
Eh. While I think it’s crappy that he clearly intended to go to the concert despite the fact that his wife doesn’t really want him to, I don’t have a problem with the idea of going a single day to see a concert relatively near by (I would have been fine with this had my husband asked).
Being a parent is big, it comes…
He did, and she initially told him no. So, even though post-OTR show she was more open to it, she probably doesn’t want him to go. Not really. But, he was never honestly on the fence about this decision—he was always going to go to this show. He looked to the hivemind with the specific goal of rationalizing going…
Sooo, let’s talk about the word “Climax.” Is this something young people even associate with sex? It feels very ‘80s soft-core porn to me. But Nars just launched a mascara called “Climax,” and now this movie. Is “Climax” making a comeback? (No pun intended.)
It gets better as the season goes on. Waaay better.
Greg the Egg 4 ever.
My roommate at the time was dating that guy. I remember when his script got picked up. It was a pretty big deal.
What!? I love Mrs. Doubtfire! I think it does an awesome job of helping kids understand that divorce is not about them or anything they did—that it’s not their fault. It really drove home that divorce is about 100% about the relationship between the parents, and I think it’s really important that kids get that.
I find it fascinating how the power of some juicy gossip continues to trump facts. Who cares if an investgation into Pitt came up with nothing? Who cares that Maddox isn’t part of the custody agreement because he’s of an age that the court doesn’t require him to be included? People would rather just keep on with the sa…
She has a legal team specifically to attend to the divorce—they are crafting the public statements at her behest. That qualifies as “people.” Not to mention that AJ is a master at planned PR.
I mean, that’s how I read it. What else would it be?!
IMO, the damage parents should be looking to mitigate is what could be damaging to the kids. This includes one parent publicly disparaging the other in the press. Controlling spin in the press via public statements is not for the kids, it’s to ensure their brands remain what they want them to be.
As another commentor…
Public court filings are one thing. Official statements given to People magazine are quite another. One can also request that their court documents be sealed—if the Gossleins could do it, Brad & Angie can, too.
