“Disney Jr.’s new Muppet Baby looks kind of weird, you may wish that it weren’t there” might be better.

I guess we’re still pretending to be “horrified” by innocuous things then? Seems weird when three dozen legit horrifying things happen every day now.

The music may be anachronistic pop, but it’s catchy, rousing anachronistic pop, and it’s reason enough to see the movie, I think.

(Dis)Honourable mention goes to Kinja.

The Muppets is good, but it spends too much time talking about why the Muppets were important and fun and not enough time letting the Muppets be fun.

It’s just a bit too nostalgia soaked to pay off for me. I want to see the Muppets on a wacky, anarchic adventure. Which is why, as unpopular as it was, Muppets Most

For me, the Great Muppet Caper will always be the best. Charles Grodin! and, um, Charles Grodin! Also, 6-year old me waited the whole movie for the Baseball Diamond to be actually used for baseball, and the muppets did not disappoint.

I always find it amusing when someone comments on a thread by saying that opinions don’t matter. What’s the point of a comment thread other than voicing one’s opinion?

I never noticed until watching The Orville how much Seth Macfarlane looks like Christopher Knight.

The “Moral Majority” finally get the leader they deserve: a serial sexual predator, adulterer, thrice-married, draft-dodging megalomaniac coward who has admitted to never have asked god for forgiveness.

Visually, it was great. The fact that they had enough footage to build a rich opening from the beginning, and never needed to update it with later stories is kind of amazing. I just hate the freaking music.

People have short memories — the term “fake news” first came to prominence last year in reference to the fabricated news stories that Trump’s supporters (probably including the Russians) were spreading about Clinton and the Democrats. These stories were always quickly exposed as fraudulent and so the term “fake news”
