That’s always an expedient option, but it’s not relevant to shady business practices preventing people from closing their account if they so wish.

Thanks for your response! To be direct, I don’t think acreage is a useful metric. We’re concerned about accessibility of people first and foremost, no? Headcount feels like the most appropriate way to do so. To your question, the definition of urban I used was that of the US Census.

I use PowerLine adapters with my Steam Link and nVidia Shield TV, and found that improved stability and reduced latency (until someone in my house flicks a light switch.) Sounds like you’re most of the way there, but may be worth looking into, especially if you’re renting.

I agree with your basic premise that this won’t work, but disagree with your reasons.

Have you read the twitter chain at issue? I was initially sympathetic on account of being conditioned by GG, but I found myself supporting the “asshole” after reading it.

I’m familiar with these, and while I would agree that they are frequently distracting and almost always expensive, they’re not golden goose killers, unless the business is a fraudulent enterprise.

The real monster is the person that points out that the monster’s name was not Frankenstein every time it comes up ;)

Interesting, thank you! I expected them to be more in this indie vein.

May I ask which two games you quit out of frustration? No pressure - I understand that answering could result in an chorus of “get gud.”

This is semantics. If we can’t get people to obey reasonable rules, we certainly can’t get people to suppress their emotions. Even if they’re not the hazard, this is a problem to be fixed by the law violators, both for safety and efficiency.

Do you think Splatoon 2 is the right place to have that discussion? Do you think elementary school kids should have to engage with that? There are times and places to have the conversation with bigots, but Splatoon image posts aren’t it.

I personally would not be into it, as I like the fantasy of exploring a deserted wasteland, leveraging the terrain in combat, getting in long range skirmishes, and the outdoor aesthetic. Indoor maps can be fun and exciting (rainbow 6: siege is my current mainstay), but it’s not what I want from my battle royale game.

Agreed! I’m not a fan of Fortnite due to building mechanics and bullet spray, and it looks like this game addresses both of those issues. I’m also a sucker for the fake 80's aesthetic. Definitely going to give it a go!

This is welcome and much needed.

it’s a stand, not a dock. no bricking risk through using it.

I think a big differentiating factor between this game and games that face similar issues, Elite: Dangerous for example, is that the stakes are only as high as you want them to be.

I read your comment as disbelief towards the dealer, not Tom. If that’s the case, the dealer didn’t provide the total price, they provided “price due on delivery” in the bottom line. We can determine total price by backing out the down payment, but the dealership didn’t lie about total price, lied about which price

I think it’s disingenuous to not understand the compulsion to say what he did. Streamers, despite being completely unqualified to deal with mental health issues, are frequently confronted with individuals that are really suffering from depression/suicidal thoughts and are attempting to self help in an inappropriate

Unfortunately, Vaati’s saying there is no engine change now.
