Poe’s Law is probably overused as a trope, but I’m having a legitimate crisis of it here. I think you sound sincere, but the voice is almost *too* perfect in such a way that it *could* be satire.

Most spanish-language media covering American teams refer to the teams by their English names, so while it looks really corny, those names are how most Spanish-speaking fans refer to the teams. As reference: Some baskteball stores on ESPN Deportes. Note: Los Lakers, El Thunder, Los Wizards, etc.

You know these are the Diamondbacks, right Barry? Don’t be surprised one day when you’re on the subway and you get a fastball to the ribs.

You know for sure it’s an evolution, because no part of this design is intelligent.

I, for one, look forward to six hour long football games with 4 1/2 hours worth of commercials.

A Panthers-Patriots Super Bowl halftime show? What could possibly go wrong?

The house arrest that he is currently under seems reasonable. At least we know he’s securely confined to his home with the mandated ankle monitors.

Then why is the premise of your post “why has it taken so long”?

“Theirs the door”

So it had no author?

This is a brilliant send-up of a junior college Film 101 term paper. It misses no cliche, drones on forever, rails against social injustice, and best of all, trashes a perfectly good film (the first “Rocky”) for its failure to be the film the author would have made instead. Add in the obligatory allusions to Brando,

In the first movie he doesn’t even win. He just finishes the fight.

With the Patriots now at 10-1, that leaves only the Carolina Panthers at a perfect 10-1.

So when should Turkey draw the line? 2 miles inside their border? 5 miles? 10 miles? Based on what we know, Russia violated their airspace and did not respond to their warnings. What happens when Russia bombs rebels just inside Turkey? Is that acceptable? Russia has the technology and equipment to fly close to the

You’re forgetting the multiple airspace violations by Russian aircraft since they’ve been in Syria.

If the pilots ignored the warnings and failed to respond, then they are equally at fault. These pilots know they are flying on the edge of Turkish airspace and should respond appropriately if they accidentally violate the border.

Putin’s larger game is most definitely about probing NATO for weakness, or even trying to fracture the alliance.

An SU-24? Not exactly their state of the art. It’s almost as if they knew they’d lose this one, so they sent a beater. And that makes you wonder what the true motive behind this was. “Hey Sasha, you and Mischa hop in an SU-24 and go fuck with Turkey, just to see exactly how they’ll respond.”

Good to see that Turkey doesn’t have any inhibitions when it comes to defending its airspace. I suspect that most countries, when confronted with a Russian jet, would just let it slide for fear of starting something.
