Nah. I can see why you say this, as I think a lot of perceptive viewers/readers are trending this way, I’d argue that the “gross misinterpretation of the text” is the idea that:

dont movies do it all the time? specially those nature disaster events.  a lot of flooding videos, storms, earthquakes have all been part of hollywood movies.

The CGI in this is amazing. He looks just like Vin Diesel.
