Genesis should care, yes -- Hyundai in many places still shares the same dealer (or adjacent property to) Kia, and those two are still trying to differentiate themselves better. Adding Genesis as a standalone, my advice would be to keep them at least 3 miles from any Hyundai shop...not to avoid cannibalization, but…

Buicks are generally nice cars to live with. Old people have a lot of things figured out. Generally they have learned it’s easier to become happier when you remove hassle from your life. Young people struggle and push and strive. Then we get to be 65 and realize, “why the hell was I pushing so hard”?
