Genesis should care, yes -- Hyundai in many places still shares the same dealer (or adjacent property to) Kia, and those two are still trying to differentiate themselves better. Adding Genesis as a standalone, my advice would be to keep them at least 3 miles from any Hyundai shop...not to avoid cannibalization, but…

Young people struggle and push and strive. Then we get to be 65 and realize, “why the hell was I pushing so hard”?
