This shows just how badly Ford fumbled in killing the ranger when it screamed out for the ecoboost treatment. I'd buy a 2.0L ecoboost ranger if it had been made available. It would check all the boxes, utility, fun to drive, solid fuel economy, enough grunt to haul moderate loads. sigh

Look, there's some cars that deserve to be garage queens. They're beautiful works of art that represent the best of a day gone by, and the above car is a perfect example. But for every pre-war Bugatti or Auburn or Zagato-designed car, there's some flame-job Chevelle or army-clone Jeep that's just sitting around…
