I am always a bit weirded out by how much native English speakers focus on tiny differences on pronouncing vowel sounds (that to me are either indistinguishable or almost entirely down to accent) but then very consistently just take a wild guess at any foreign-looking word even if the language in question is strictly

One thing I don’t really understand is how does HaloDotAPI work? Like where does it get the information from? Does it scrape some internal halo API? Does it need to store historical data? Unless Autocode has some special access blessed by 343 (doesn’t sound like it), then I have to imagine they could open source the

Theres no pay to win or anything. You only miss out on cosmetics by not paying for a season pass / in game currency, and a lot of the cosmetics are trivial (name plates / titles). There are some fun costumes but like, who cares?

What a rotten way to die.

It’s not only less interesting to me, it speaks ill of Halsey’s work/planning on the SPARTAN II project to have not foreseen this inevitability...

Fair, but I just saw that as similar to any of the times in the games something would be exploding and Chief would bring out one of his patented “CORTANA, WORK FASTER” lines. It was never panic, but there was definite urgency.
