That's becoming the MO for Europeans who dislike or hate Islam. They use "women's rights" or "gay freedom" as a hallmark of why Europe is better than Muslim locales. The irony is that the people invoking such nonsense tend to be from groups or ideologies who have historically opposed a role for women beyond the home…
