Except some of these actors are playing roles where there is both intimate partner violence and/or sexual violence. Badgley’s character in “You” is the perfect example of that. So there is a disconnect. If we were talking about a show or film that was just romantic or sexy then I would agree with you.

I think it is fine if actors don’t want to do sex scenes. But I also find there is  weird disconnect when those same actors don’t have any issue with ultra violent scenes.
