I have a 2001 B5 1.8t. It’s got a eliminator gt28 with supporting “stage 3" things and Eurodyne software.

The 4000 he drove is not torsen based at all. You can’t lock a torsen, and the 4000 has a center and rear locker with an open front. 5000s were also set up like this I believe. 90s had locking center with open rear diffs. There are a lot of older Audis with no torsen diffs at all.

B3 VW Passat wagon in white. I had one. It was dubbed the spaceship.

This is also the case with Audis with torsen diffs, but it’s still different yet. If you can get one to try I recommend it.

All of the people that want this car aren’t going to spend $27k on it. The same person just buys a miata, E30, or a 944 if they are crazy(me). I don’t really understand how this car can cost more than a base model Golf. If it were a ~$15k car, no one would care about lack of power.

Replacing an “unreliable” Jag engine with a rotary is like replacing a “head gasket killing” water-boxxer with a subaru engine. A lot of time and money for the same result.

Are you sure the steering wheel is installed incorrectly, or is is the fact that “The front right suspension isn’t really attached to anything” causing some seriously fucked up alignment? Toe will usually correct itself causing the car to feel relatively “aligned”.

I feel the same way about my Speed triple. I actually love the paint on your SV. I don’t see them in that color very often.
