The VW diesels still produce less NOx by a goos margin than an equivalent gasoline models. I don’t know how that is difficult to understand.

Can’t vote on this one. It looks like it’s in good shape, but I could not care less about owning one. The only good thing about a two stroke road engine is easy of complete rebuild, and it ends there. Add an unpredictable power band to an old sketchy chassis and it’s pretty much a nightmare.

People that are going to buy this don’t live in the real world financially. This is an entry level racer for people with means well beyond the average Jalop. Rationalizing it using our current financial situation isn’t going to happen.

Most enjoyable vehicle? Is it going to not have a garbage subaru engine, transmission, interior, and exterior? That would be something!
