Oh look I read the article. Looks like they did compare 4 models side by side, turbo v non-turbo. Maybe I'm just stupid, but it looks like all of the apples to apples comparison end in favor of the turbo cars.

They didn't compare turbo and non turbo versions of the same model cars. This means pretty much nothing.

She obviously did something bitchy to have fat written on the card. Seems like the type that would do that and then complain.

Why is it that one journalist will say a certain Audi is extremely understeer prone and another will say the exact opposite? Having owned a few, tire selection, alignment, and technique certainly matters, but there shouldn't be this much of a discrepancy.
