Nobody likes to be rejected. I’m a man who doesn’t enjoy physical contact with casual acquaintances and it definitely got me labeled and unfriendly and rude and put me out of the running for a couple of jobs until I just learned to accept it.

That’d be lovely, but it’s not how culture in most of the Western world functions. Sometimes you just have to adapt and overcome.

It’s super simple, but something a lot of businesses get wrong and always a clear sign of a place you didn’t want to work at anyway.

In every other business outside of retail, a customer who acted this way would be escorted out by security or the police would be called. 

I’m still enjoying the four sets of vouchers for tickets to concerts no one wants to see which are also at venues that no one wants to go to from my Ticketmaster settlement.

Not always, but it’s a significant part of the price. You don’t need to give them five dollars off, but it certainly affects the food cost calculation.

As a former kitchen manager, I’d have to disagree. 

A lot of places don’t do that at this point. The entree salads have more veg and the side salads are just iceberg lettuce and a few tomatoes if you’re lucky. Ordering an entree salads gets you romaine, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, a little cheese, etc. Obviously, if they have a decent side salad order that but…

Not only them but the people willing to engage them in an argument. Even if they’re not trolls you’re never going to change their minds.

If you contact customer service every time a delivery is late they’ll extend your subscription 1-3 months. There was a stretch where my local warehouse couldn’t manage to deliver anything on time I racked up a free year. I canceled eventually, but it’s always worth making a complaint to Amazon.
