No, I'm just bitter and cynical because this looks like a case of celebrity/rich privilege.

I have my observations of how all law enforcement and security agencies have previously acted.
It even works for agencies and people that have nothing to do with law enforcement and security.
Again, that doesn't tell anyone what scope they're operating on. Are they now going to work on domestic cases that have little to do with national security just because it involves hacking?
So why are we now sending government agencies after misogynist internet trolls when there's more important things for them to be worried about?
Don't expect this to happen often. When it's someone with money and influence, sure security agencies will leap into action. But if it's you or me, they'll just ask you to take a number.
Security agencies also have this tendency to only spring into action when it's someone with money and influence who's being effected, and just shrug when the average citizen is the victim.
Doesn't say anything about what scope they're operating on though. Just a general, "We also fight cyber-crime!"
Had he stopped with one target though he'd just be a murderer. And didn't he also have an agenda to force people to do something?
Alright, I can see that as plausible.
Why, have these people sent her and other people physical bombs?
They already have.
Neither do I. So we're in the same boat.
Aimed at a single person? That's not how terrorism works.
Their responsibilities for cyber-security aren't limited to national security?
I haven't given a shit about the VMAs and any other MTV award for over 15 years.
Is it animated or live-action?
Stealing an actress's information is illegal, but I don't see how it's threatening national security.
"Seth MacFarlane’s"
That's what I think too.
