Looks like it’s a 12lb Stanley Soft-Face Dead Blow Sledge Hammer. It’s not metal on the outside (there is a urethane coating), but it’s still metal on the inside (steel):

Uh, oh. My E39 has a steel body. Should I be concerned about insurance and repair costs? <seg>
Ahh yes Tesla, the bastion of truthfulness.
I don’t know what you are on about, from the Tesla web site:
no, they aren’t - there was some videos from the factory tour and the long hockey stick piece is its own thing (there was racks of the pieces in one of the shots).
The other problem is finding repair shops that will repair to sub-micron tolerances.
Agreed. There will be no hail damage claims and any minor parking lot damage is probably unlikely too. There also wont be any painting or blending of adjacent panels for color match.

You know what? I’m ok with this article.

All the Henry’s in the world would be rolling in their graves, and if they’re still alive, they’ll die, then start rolling in their graves. I am curious to see how this whole thing plays out, cause I saw a…
I think it’s fair to point out how poorly designed/built the Cybertruck is.
Look, I’m not a Tesla Stan but:
Why don't we do this with all our garbage?
