Most large companies simply have no way to generate real innovation. the way that they get new ideas or new innovations is by buying out and partnering with smaller, entrepreneurial companies.

It sounds crazy, you think “Gosh- a company with that kind of money and power should be able to do anything”

But in practice, it

I’m rooting for Scooter Remover despite their shitty practices.

I love it. I assumed people would steal or Chuck them into the weeds. But a company working like a tow company and charging storage it is brilliant.

And now, of course, their feelings are hurt because they’re being called “thieves”. Everyone is so truly unfair.

I love a story where there’s nobody to root for.

It’s no big deal. The “thieves” are just washed up celebs. There is no crime. There is nothing to see. Move on people.

I appreciate pointing out the hypocrisy at play here, but this is a flavor of hot take I’m really fucking tired of. Can a tragedy just be a tragedy? Do we always have to justify our emotional responses to stuff like this by comparing it to other tragedies or excuse it by giving some explicit personal or familial

“the potential of even bigger revenues in the future, which will not cover rapidly increasing expenses...”

If history is any indication, first we have to eradicate white supremacy and THEN have those same people build the cars for us, which we will then buy out of a paternalistic and conflicted sense of victors’ guilt that’s like the opposite of Schadenfreude.

Why am I so ok with that?

I bet they will, though I bet the main way they’ll feasibly sell them is with a 4-door model. Which very well could work.

The current trajectory of electrification seems backwards to me.

You literally sound insane, the brainwashing from your liberal studies degree really comes out in your writing.

With blind spot systems so prevalent now, how far away is technology that can tell when you’re getting passed on the right, and it tells the driver to move over? Preferably, it would have a loud, obnoxious sound until the lane change occurs. I’d celebrate that and eagerly accept it as standard equipment.

If I hit 80, I’m tryin’ heroin.

Sure, it takes years off your life. But they’re the shitty years!! My great aunt lived to 92, which was about 20 years longer than it should have been. between the macular degeneration, osteoporosis and dementia, she ended up talkingto her dead relatives, complaining she couldn’t see them.

Thanks for calling my grandmother famous.

A color like that makes it hard to play hide-and-sheik.
