I know “getting is right” is paramount to many people, but it has really impacted the viewing experience of the game detrimentally. If you watched the first half of the Uruguay-Ecuador game last night you know exactly what I’m talking about.

NBA Commentators: “Wow! The West is finally wide-open with the Warriors falling apart due to injuries. With just a slew of young teams who haven’t proved much sitting under them, the Rockets could enter the 2020 season as heavy favorites in the conference. I wonder how they’ll react to possibly being front runners?

Report: Now that the players themselves have joined in, Everyone on Planet Earth is Fed Up with the Rockets

I love the NBA. I love the Lakers. I enjoy watching Golden State. I just want all teams to be able to compete at their highest levels free of injury.

Another lesson to be taken from this Finals series (“Final Clubs. Not Finals Clubs.”), and it is this:

I stated, here and on Twitter, like dozens of times, that it didn’t matter who won Raps/Sixers because Milwaukee was going to destroy either one and was the only team in the East who had a shot of challenging Golden State, so I just want to use this space to say: I am an idiot, and this is one of several reasons why I

Teams that decide to forgo several seasons of competitive basketball in exchange for a few dice rolls and the chance to pick a potential franchise savior off the menu aren’t so much making wise but difficult decisions as they are lazily putting the franchise on autopilot and allowing the structural benefits of the

She went on to thank office staff who neglected to tell her about scholarships and “the teacher who was regularly intoxicated during class this year,” which caused her classmates to cheer.

LOL what the hell

“the teacher who was regularly intoxicated during class this year,”

The valedictorian at my high school graduation put the “dick” in valedictorian. He was a jackass. His speech went on at length saying essentially that none of the rest of us deserved to graduate because we didn’t work for it. I was shocked to be hearing it, and further shocked that some faculty member or administrator

You go girl!

I had so many teachers that overlooked and never asked me why I was gone for literally weeks at a time. multiple times, skipping school in 10th and 11th. I was also being bullied by a gang of girls that thought I was after someone’s boyfriend. I was a depressed kid staying home and sleeping. When I was finally figured

Also, in that usage, “I” is incorrect.

I don’t know how I feel about this.

I published something similar to her speech in the schools yearbook. I still honestly have no idea what guidance counselors are supposed to do, but they provided me no guidance.

As a school social worker who gets pissed when confused for a guidance counselor, I can confirm they suck ass and could easily be replaced by a computer.

I never “got” my Ph.D. diploma because Florida State University said I owed them $60 after I’d paid them tens of thousands, and I said I’d see them in hell.

High school is definitely its own parody. Mine said everyone would get their diplomas unless they still had books out. I double checked, nothing out. No diploma. Had to come back first thing next Monday morning to get my damn paper. It was the last fuck-you they could give me, and they took the opportunity.
