I think that is a bit of an unfair charge. Just because the universe might not inherently have meaning does it mean that an intelligent advanced species cannot create their own. We have a long history of competing subjective ideologies battling for supremacy, so I don't know why in the absence of purpose or meaning of

I suppose it's difficult for beings like us that like to see meaning in things, to the point that we will subjectively create that meaning just to satisfy whatever need we have, to accept the absurdist point of view that existence might be meaningless: everything exists for no reason.

It seems more difficult than it actually is. Most Pokemon come from families, which means you only need to catch it once and train it or breed it to get prior evolution.

The weird part about that is that it is confusing for Janine to be there and Giovanni, when if we are going based on when Janine was a Gym Leader Giovanni was in hiding and retired and Blue was a Gym Leader.

Really though? A ball that turned into another ball flipped, eggs that turned into a Coconut Tree, a magnet that turned into more magnets. A simple pigeon and rat? And a mole that evolved into just more moles, presumably stuck together.

No. They always do this, this is just the first time that they spit the third version of a Generation into two games. And they probably have more Pokemon designs down the pipeline.

I think you will appreciate the changes more if you played Black/White, but from the story it doesn't seem necessary to understand what is going on.

Gold and Silver (and Crystal) are sequels to Red, Blue, Yellow, but they are considered separate Generations, whereas Black 2 White 2 are taking place within the same Generation as Black/White. So I can understand where the terminology is coming from.

Richard, you have a couple of things wrong in your assessment. First most of the criminal terrorist organizations have not been interested in stealing/capturing Pokemon for nefarious reasons. At most it is for legendary Pokemon that can have some global impact, and that is only most pronounced in Diamond and Pearl

13 was not terrible. It wasn't life changing but it was a good, with good gameplay, and the story really wasn't that bad. People just have unrealistic expectations.

It is a lot like the Battle Tower, but rather than just random AI you will have past NPCs that use a specialty. There is also an option to download new stuff it seems.

No, they can't gain EXP, but that makes it more difficult as you aren't able to out-level the Gym Leaders since both you and they are capped at Lv 50.

I think so. The game has introduced a form of achievement trophies called Medals that you can earn. The World Tournament allows you to battle past NPCs, which I think will be a major draw for most people. There are far stronger trainers to battle, and you can always up the ante by increasing the difficulty. The game

The geography of the Unova region has changed. Some of it is frozen over, and the region is oriented differently. Like I said, you start in a new place, you take a different route to the league, and the areas have changed ascetically and content in the two years since B/W.

You aren't revisiting the same Unova. The region has changed, you start off in a different town, a completely new player, there are new Gym Leaders, and the region is significantly different. Add to that the fact that the game has introduced a Challenge Mode, and a ton of new content. It also includes special bonuses

Ugh. Please. FFVII is considered by many people to be the greatest FF game, or game in general, because of when it was released and where they were as individuals developmentally, and the fact that objectively it was a great game. However, no matter how many resources Square puts into it, it will be impossible for

I agree, if life is just the expression of complex chemical reaction the universe is probably full of it. But it's probably full of stuff you can never have a conversation with as it is fairly simple, driven by instincts or basic motor functions. Which is fine, which makes us, the 0.000...1% more unique.

There's no doubt that resource scarcity helped fuel our technological advancement; however, all cultures employed this, regardless of how abundant their immediate environment was because fruitful places trigger population growth, which eventually will put a stress on resources.

I wonder if the sneakers are meant to be a teaser for more GIiS in the future, because since Solid State the series hasn't developed. I really hope they do, because the series is a really great cop drama, that still manages to insert humor but without the usual anime Chibi fair—aside from the occasional Tachikoma

I've liked many of the changes that they put in. I for one like the substitution bar, because it forced you to be more strategic in how you play: you had to be conservative when to use it and how to avoid using it. Unlike in the past when it was unlimited, and for me it actually felt as if it wasn't as easy to trigger.
