See Theranos, dead before arrival but still a money pit for those with way too much.

Cha ching! My thoughts precisely. They better have a way to keep people staring at their app for hours or days at a time while ads scroll by or another way to convince advertisers Life T’s riders will buy their stuff. They could put one of those obnoxiously loud and bright native advertising screens we hate at gas…
It’s 1/11, they’re sliding already. Source for that blurt?
“tech” bs business model. The founders can walk away rich after Friday. I doubt their drivers work for them because they’re enthralled with the prospect of being associated with a kewl company.
Uh, umm, eh, er, hmm...
wiki has a pretty good write up on what happened
There are still a number of outstanding suits against the botched FB IPO.
Pinterest seems to be a black hole for images or some kind of sticky astroturf.
Happens often, FB did the same, then moved steadily up.
Moving targets eventually get hit. Pathetic she was boosted by her own petard, shot herself in the foot, peed into the wind, whichever; it was coming after unwittingly conjuring up Blondie’s parody “I love you honey, give me a beer.”
But it’s really cool. No one would laugh at you riding whatever that is. So over the top! A new EG at a stop light with the mirrors shaking off their stems? Yeah, always gets grins, followed by outright guffaws when the fat guy on it rolls the throttle, the thing explodes and starts moving.
Sure, in some markets e-stuff makes sense, a lot of sense. I have no use at all for any of it. Last thing we need is to be stranded in west boo foo at -20F because some battery charge state indicator was wrong. In congested urban areas, this stuff is great, especially the rent a scooter by the mile stuff.
Wet film is the future! Great CEO they had to put all their money into that fools basket! The first digital camera I ever saw and used was a Kodak. They really blew it!
Very true. Where is Schwinn now? They and Huffy exist but Schwinn isn’t making the indestructible tank like bikes they did way back then. They did eventually react to the Chinese bike invasion and now make some very good bikes. Huffy is still low end but somewhat better now. Only thing, without the label, most bikes…
Great plan, hoping the brand will pull them through this version of the AMF years. During that period, along with the Bad News Bears dirt bikes, they still sold monster high vibration models, not much different than the ones my dad had in the 1930's. No shift lever or clutch pedal, though, awww.
Of course, there are plenty of antique tractors still doing farm work, too but that’s not a great comparison to a harley either.
Methinks you should go outside more and probably lose some weight.
Same as Woo-stuh or Wuh-stuh Mass?
Belt layup, especially the number of sidewall belts can have a huge effect on handling, wish manufacturers would have that in their sales info instead of having to get an actual tire or a good closeup image of one.
Life T is sharing it with you like shareware, which is like freeware except you may have to pay for it like public transportation which is different from outright buying a car or software. Get it? Me neither; it’s some comfy term they channeled into the narrative to better curate the conversations of those reaching…
