That ending was actually pretty brilliant. How often this season (or in the show in general) have the cold opens been insulated, or red herrings, or hints of the future, the far future, the one we don't have to plan for just yet?

That whole twitter bit was so fucking stupid, wrongheaded, and kind of offensive.

I do think the timing of the ad was really shitty but shockingly I didn't find Costas comment that offensive, especially considering homeboy had criticized a Chinese national for doping just minutes after she pulled a come-from-behind victory in swimming.

My biggest issues with it were that some of the jokes were incredibly broad bits that you could hear almost anywhere, that lacked any specific tone of voice, especially the Gabby Douglas bit (the whole thing) and that fucking bit about how Muslims and Sikhs are different.

I got really tight-chested during those last few minutes. This wasn't my favorite episode (wedding planning episodes usually suck or just a combination of shitty cliches) except for when the actual reception stuff, which was a legitimately great segment of show.

Considering that Hank isn't on the case anymore (I think, I couldn't hear what was said), he'd do it on his own time. He already knows that something is up with Walt, and now he has the one piece of the puzzle that'll put it all together.

But it's not as if it isn't clear that Saul views Walt as incredibly dangerous, to the point where he could destroy the lives of everyone around him, and most importantly Saul's life.

Walt only has Saul under control as far as scaring him, but Mike isn't really dealing with that so much as taking care of "his guys".

That was kind of the point though. Walt has slide so far into the druglord mindset he feels like he's living in a rap video.

He's not connecting him to the blue meth, he's connecting him to Saul. Saul's men were there when Ted had his "accident", they were the ones coming to collect on Ted, and I guaran-fucking-tee that if Hank pushes Saul even a little hard he gives him Walt.
