But why couldn't you tell similar stories with Miles that you do with Peter? If this is ostensibly still set in the Marvel Film Universe then Spider-Man hasn't even made an appearance yet, and it's not like Miles has a whole new batch of enemies.

Also I'm really really annoyed and frustrated that they went with Peter Parker and not Miles Morales for this iteration of Spidey. Working with a not-as-high-profile medium like animation for TV should have allowed DC to take a different direction with this as opposed to the movie series.
I dunno. I tried watching the Avengers cartoon and just couldn't get into it. The voice acting and animation was really bad.
This movie was really good. Saw it at Gasparilla Film Festival and really loved it. The ending was pretty powerful.
It's on Hulu. NBC puts all of their failed shows on Hulu.
I really just hated that he seemed to scream almost every line.
I marathonned the series so far so I can't really point to an exact point where it got good, but the episodes after the hiatus when it joined the DC Nation block have been really good, especially the one where Klarion returns.
ugh the art direction for the new Batman cartoon is godawful, and I feel like they're only going to screw up Professor Pyg and Katana.
at least not in this capacity.
AV Club wasn't around 20 years ago.
Please make this a recurring feature! ADVENTURE TIME is one of my favorite cartoons and I'd love to see some love for it on the AV Club (beyond that great interview with Pendelton Ward).
Have you ever fucking watched a Hanna-Barbera cartoon? Like The Flintstones or Scooby-Doo? The art was fucking awful.
Quarter-Life was canceled after 1 episode.
I might pick it back up then, for at least a couple issues.
He's the new Atom for the DCnU's Justice League, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got at least a miniseries of him soon.
Really? I had so many issues with the post-FEAR ITSELF Avengers Academy. Is the whole "future Reptil trapped in present Reptil's body in order to overthrow the Academy" story still in place? That was the worst concept.
Yeah, most prosthetics in the Marvel U run strictly on "rule of cool".
And they've teased out that Challengers will probably have a larger role in the DCU, seeing as there's a nod to them in another book (can't remember which one now). And after the Challengers arc is going to be one all about one of Vandal Savage's daughters (not Scandal, a new one).
Like I said (and like Green has said as well) it's largely a deconstruction of LOOKING FOR ALASKA and I felt like it took some of the worst parts of his writing and made it obvious why they were bad.
I'm pretty sure that I'm the only person on the internet that doesn't like John Green. I read all his books within a year and the only one that really stood out to me as "good" was PAPER TOWNS, because it dissected a lot of what he did with LOOKING FOR ALASKA, which I didn't understand the hype, although it did…
