That's my point. In my hypothetical scenario, I obviously don't find my own actions to be creepy. So what's your answer, yes or no?

Let's play with a hypothetical scenario. If my objective was to put a smile on my girlfriend's face by doing something that everyone finds creepy except me, do you then find it worthy of criticism despite my good intentions and lack of thought behind it?

Millenials: taking "see and be seen" to a whole new level.

People keep saying "it's just some silly fun", and obviously that's the case, but what exactly prompted all of this effort on his part? Why do this in particular? What was his motivation? "Silly fun" describes his attitude, not his objective.

Concepts as simple as that have been patented and utilized by patent trolls, so I guess... yeah? :(

I wonder if these off brands aren't allowed to have the widths of 3 pieces equal the length of 1 piece, otherwise risking legal trouble with the makers of Jenga. It couldn't possibly be that these off brands are so stupid that they can't apply 3rd grade math to design the pieces. (Right?)

No, no they don't. What's your point?

Is there tentacle porn in Korea? I thought that was a uniquely Japanese fetish.

Just because it's an idealized Korean face doesn't mean it's a "plastic surgery" doll face. There are plenty of Korean women that were born looking like this, and I know them. Sometimes it's just make-up.

For a country that's so wired and otherwise technologically progressive, it's weird that they're in the desktop computer dark ages. What I hate most is their love of Internet Explorer 8.

It would say that soccer is a shallow and silly game. But, this is a false premise. Patricia Hernandez clearly isn't familiar with actual soccer skills.

Totally. I'd be more impressed with a highlight reel over stuff like this any day.

You should just avoid her articles. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything. Just let her boss sort things out.

I think we only expect certain types of people to be attracted to police work, just like with how we see positions in political office. Until people like you apply to police jobs, you can't really complain about the force being full of pigs.

Clearly we didn't spend enough tax dollars on this loser's high school education.

Okay, but she says "most girls are idiots" in the context of being compared to the typical girl who likes flowers and swoons over knights. It's not an uncommon thing for a girl of her "archetype" to say, just as nerds and other outsiders lament that "people suck" during middle to high school age.

I think you're dissecting that a bit too deeply. Have you never met a tomboy who grew up in a "conservative" area? It's pretty natural for a kid to hate on people who hate on you. I'm sure that as Arya grows up, her understanding of the world will mature as well. (I'm only on Book 2.)

To be fair, most of us sit on the other end of the spectrum, laying in bed or sitting in a chair for 95% of the day.

No, there's nothing racist at all about joking that black people are like monkeys (sub-human), which is a joke that racist Europeans happen to enjoy making often, and that racist Americans used to make before the 1960s.

I wonder if the giff/jiff pronunciation schism has some kind of correlation with regional dialects. I just find it awkward to say "giff" whereas "jiff" always rolled off the tongue more easily.
